Íde Ní Shiúlleabháin

Íde’s work is largely based on recording the world around her. Using strong colours and angular shapes she creates bold interpretations of people, animals, objects and tools of trades. There is an industrial tone to her work due to the angles and colour, yet the pieces are very inviting. Her constant dedication to observing and recording in her sketchbook are an integral part of her process. She works with extreme focus and attention.
