CIT CCAD are leading in a number of research and programme development areas connected to the realtionship between the field for the project and third level education. The work includes the development of an MA training of practitioners in the field, exploration of arts accreditation for adult learners/ artists, Research on the potential of links with a range of arts programmes including art therapy, and creative group facilitation.

-Research on cross programme (fine art, art therapy, creative group facilitation) impacts and proposals for development
-Exploration of accrediation for adult learners/ artists
-Development of programmes/ methodology for international workshops. Each partner will design a 5 day international arts workshop presenting and exploring pedagogical approaches to inclusive arts practices. These workshops will form the basis of practice based research. The workshop will be coordinated to ensure that there is diverse thematic and pedagogical approaches.

Documentation and evaluation of workshops will take place to enhance the learning and potential for other organisations practitioners to use it as a resource.
